Here's where Im at right now:

4 Dark Ritual
4 Unmask
4 Thoughtseize
4 Hymn
4 Spectre
4 Tombstalker
4 Negator/Gouger
4 Wasteland
2 Sinkhole
3 Smallpox
2 Edict
4 Snuff out
5 Black Fetch
9 Swamp
3 Mishra's Factory

4 Engineered Plague
4 Powder Keg
3 Pithing Needle
4 Leyline

List is suited for beating combo and control decks, but suffers against aggro. Attempts to shore up the aggro MU have always failed, in that the deck is warped to the point that it is unrecognizable, so I have abandoned this endeavor.

Unmask is entirely underrated, and complements Thoughtseize and Hymn better than Duress IMO and makes for more keepable opening hands.

Ride the spiral to the end, it may just go where no one's been.

That was not appropriate to say to little kids. Keep the PG section PG if you know what I mean. Best they don't know about the R rated movies, less they want to go see them. -A;-PoG

In any case as for your list.... Personally I would run Duress over Unmask, but that is a personal preference. The only reason I like Duress over Unmask is due to its ability to not force me to discard my own card as a additional cost to its casting. Honestly I think your running to few lands. It should be closer to 21, and you should be running wastelands instead of Mishra's. Additionally I don't like the smallpoxes. I would personally rather run 2 more Sinkhole's and an additional land in its place...

Fathers abandoned their sick sons. Lawyers refused to come and make out wills for the dying. Friars and nuns were left to care for the sick, and monasteries and convents were soon deserted, as they were stricken, too. Bodies were left in empty houses, and there was no one to give them a Christian burial."

Good Afternoon here guys. Well i'll be needing some help from you about my Mba. It's a little non-budget deck but not that expensive though. Any constructive criticism is appreciated. It is still under construction. I still doubt some cards to be included like putting 3 smother and 3 diabolic edict both in the main deck. Do you think i have a stable mana with what i have in the list?

Mono Black Aggro

Deck List

Creature: 18
4 Dark Confidant
4 Dauthi Slayer
4 Hypnotic Specter
4 Nantuko Shade
2 Tombstalker

Sorcery: 10
4 Hymn to Tourach
3 Thoughtseize
3 Duress

Instant: 10
4 Dark Ritual
3 Smother
3 Diabolic Edict

Artifact: 2
2 Umezawa's Jitte

Land: 20
8 Swamp
4 Wasteland
4 Verdant Marsh
2 Mishra's Factory
2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

Sideboard:
1 Thoughtseize
2 Pithing Needle
2 Damnation
2 Nevinyrral's Disk
3 Leyline of The Void
4 Engineered Plague

Reasons and Decisions:

Creatures:
Dark Confidant - No doubt better than Phyrexian Arena.

Dauthi Slayer - Yes it can't block but it can cause your opponent a lot of headache when it's equipped with Umezawa's Jitte.

Hypnotic Specter - A real headache occurs when it comes into the battlefield first turn through Dark Ritual.

Nantuko Shade - Pump and Smash.

Tombstalker - A flying demon really hurts right?

Spells:

Hymn to Tourach - Do we still have to talk about it?

Duress - A nasty first turn, also does well with first turn Dark Ritual and Hymn to Tourach.

Thoughtseize - Another nasty card with a little ouch from you but can catch overpowered creatures.

Diabolic Edict - Changeable whatever the meta needs.

Smother - Same as Diabolic Edict but definitely be useful because you are the one to choose.

Artifacts:

Umezawa's Jitte - What more can you ask of a Dauthi Slayer equipped with a Jitte? When the opponent can't stop it then it's time to say "good game".

Lands:

Wasteland - Probably a dead card against monocolored decks but still gonna throw it in. A lot of us in Legacy format almost uses non-basic lands right?

Mishra's Factory - One of the best manland in Magic History.

Mutavault - I was thinking of adding Mutavault. I think Mishra's Factory needs a little help once he got lock by Pithing Needle and it shares creature type against Merfolk deck right, but i doubt not drawing urborg to make tehm produce black mana which is too important for Nantuko Shade.

Verdant Marsh - One of the new fetchlands of Zendikar. It could be Obsidian Flats or whatever fetches swamp to reduce the number of land draw. Making the tempo of your draw a smooth one.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth - It could help a lot i think. especially when you have those manland in the battlefield.

Sideboards may vary depending on the meta present in your neighborhood.
